Bob Roth

Executive Director of David Lynch Foundation (Internationally)

Bob Roth is one of the most experienced and sought-after meditation leaders in America. Over the past 45 years, Bob has taught Transcendental Meditation to many thousands of people, and is the author of the 2018 New York Times bestseller, “Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation.” As CEO of the David Lynch Foundation Bob has helped bring meditation to more than a million students in underserved schools in 35 countries, to military veterans and their families who suffer from post-traumatic stress, and to women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. Bob also directs the Center for Health & Wellness, which is bringing meditation to companies, government organizations, and nonprofit organizations. Bob is the host of the SiriusXM radio show, “Success Without Stress” and has spoken about meditation to industry leaders at such gatherings as Google Zeitgeist, Aspen Ideas Festival, Aspen Brain Conference, Wisdom2.0, and Summit.

Mark Bunn

CEO David Lynch Foundation Australia

Mark’s career started as a professional AFL footballer, playing 6 seasons for Fitzroy (now Brisbane) and Hawthorn in the 1990’s. After formally studying both Western and Eastern health science (Maharishi Ayurveda) he has been a prominent corporate speaker throughout Australasia in the areas of mind-body health, business performance and the new consciousness. His clients include CBA, NAB, Westpac, Hong Kong COC, Toyota, YPO Asia-Pacific and numerous Government Dept’s and Education groups. Mark is also the author of the three-time best-seller ‘Ancient Wisdom for Modern Health’ and has been the foundation’s CEO since its inception.

Gavan Evans

Director of Fundraising, Events and Government Relations

Gavan is a highly experienced marketing communications and sponsorship professional who has worked with leading Australian and global organisations including the Commonwealth Bank, Deutsche Bank and Swiss Re (Atradius), John Holland, Veolia, State Rail NSW and other large corporations. He also has extensive major government, corporate and public event experience and has worked with major dance, theatre and music artists including Fat Boy Slim, Sting, Crowded House, the Cure, Gil Scott Heron, Eartha Kitt and others.

Deirdre Parsons

Head of David Lynch Foundation UK

Deirdre Parsons is Executive Director for the David Lynch Foundation UK. After studying design and art history, she has followed a career in education. For the last 25 years she has had extensive experience working as a lecturer, curriculum developer, promoter, and education advisor within the public and charity sectors. During the last two decades she has specialised in the development of education to improve health and well being.

Rogers Badgett

International Director USA

Rogers graduated from Rollins College, in Winter Park Florida, in 1965 with a BA and in 1967 with an MBA. Self-employed as an investor/businessman, he served as Adjunct Faculty in the business department of MUM from 1980 to 1990. Today, he is the Owner/President of The Raj Ayur-Veda Health Center in Fairfield, Iowa (USA) – a 36,000 sq ft health facility pioneering the use of Ayur-Vedic medicine in North America. Along with his wife Candace, he is an international consultant to those who wish to open Ayur-Vedic clinics in their respective countries.

He is also president of the World Health Foundation, Iowa supporting international projects to provide sustainable health programs and to protect the culture of indigenous peoples.

Candace Badgett, PhD

International Director USA

As one of 24 International Trustees, Candace has administrative responsibility and gives guidance through advanced lectures and programs for women practitioners of Transcendental Meditation worldwide.

In 1990, Candace and her husband, Rogers Badgett, built a 36,000 sq ft health facility, The Raj, in Fairfield, Iowa, pioneering the use of Ayur-Vedic medicine in North America. They are the owners and operators of this facility, as well as international consultants for Ayur Vedic clinics.

Candace is also a member of the Board of the World Association of Vedic Studies ( WAVES) , an international academic organization promoting Vedic Science.

John Stevens

Company Secretary and Chair

John has a degree in Science and postgraduate qualifications in Environment
and Management. He has worked in a variety of roles in wildlife research,
farming and public administration and has expertise in infrastructure planning,
process management, benchmarking, program evaluation and management

John had a leadership role in developing strategies for providing more
sustainable water, wastewater and recycled water services for new
development areas in north western and south western Sydney.

Married with two adult children, John is now retired and gives up his time to work for the Foundation on a voluntary basis.
